Flower ideas please!!

I set my heart to have Anemones for my bouquet and reception decor....i love the black in the center and elegant look.  but i was just told that they don't ship well to hawaii.  so bummed about it :(  my color is black, white and pinkish peach....which flowers would be good alternatives to achieve similar look?

Wow tough one.....my cousin wedding was pink and black and we used the super dark calla lillies for the BM bouquets, you could also look at the cybibium orchids, they are white with a deep color on the throat of the flower, that is hawaiinish too. I have had a hard time finding flowers that hawaii will be able to get too, but I'm sure it will all work out. Are you working with a florist in hawaii yet? If you are, you could ask them for reccomendations, or even visit your local flower shop and talk to the florist who should be able to help you, that's what I did!

Ok personally I really wanted plumeria's in my wedding boquet but I was afraid of them browning too quickly so I found a lady at www.plumeriasweddingflowerboutique.com she does silk flower boquets. I ordered my flowers through her. I am not sure if she has that specific flower or not but it might worth a quick email if you are really wanting them and are willing to bend from real to fake. I just looked at it as instead of drying them I can make them a floral arragement in my married home. I hope this helps it is just something a little different than normal. Her work looks amazing. I haven't gotten mine yet but I am very excitied about it! Good luck

What about trying to put dark seed pods into the mix to add that punch of black - or those uluhe fernAnd maybe some pink protea? They aren't delicate like the anemones, but they're in a similar vein.

Thank you for wonderful ideas, ladies.  I will look into silk/clay flowers as well.  Pink protea look very cool!
