Surfboard Guest Book

Look at how cool this would be to have your guests sign, instead of a traditional guest book!! It's made by Etsy seller "The Back Porch Shoppe," I ordered some wedding signs from her earlier this month and she was asking what colors I wanted to use. I told her to send me examples of anything she had done in fuschia and orange, and she sent me a picture of this surfboard: [img]http://tinyurl.com/yf82g77[/img] Too bad it would be crazy expensive to ship, and a pain in the butt to bring on the plane

But oh how fabulous and original would it be to have it!  If I surfed I would LOVE to have this as our guest "book"!!!!Andrea, who is this etsy seller?  I would love to peruse through some of her other stuff!

Her stuff is too cute!! I think KKakes had a sign done for her wedding too, that's how I heard about the shop... I definitely recommend her, very sweet and can work with you to create whatever you want! I saw the surf board on her site as well but i thought logistically to get it to and from hawaii it would be not that simple...if you do purchase it Andrea let me know how easy it is to write on and if you encountered difficulties carrying it on the plane.  I plan to purchase the bride/groom signs and a personalized welcome to our wedding sign.  J. :-)

Hi Andrea! What an amazing idea! It would be perfect for someone living on the island as it would be very expensive to get it off. I think it is so creative and neat. Too bad I live in MN! Boo!!!!

my FI's brother-in-law makes surf boards in his garage in oahu and i mentioned to him a few months ago that we wanted him to make us one for the wedding...hmm...wonder if he came through, it would make a great guestbook and wall decor in our new place! thanks , you just totally reminded me of it. Shipping it back is kind of a hassle though...

Shipping's only $16?!?!? You should totally DO IT!!!!  :)Just buy a surfboard cover to protect it on the plane.
