OMG! 9 months to go!!

Hi everyone,     I can't believe we have 9 months to go!  I'm getting a little nervous because it seems like our guest list is growing, but our budget isn't.  I'm still excited though!  So much to do but at least I have my dress, our venue, our coordinator, and our save the dates should be arriving on Wednesday!!!  I'm definitely going to look into doing tons of DIY to try and save $$.  Not sure how I'll do, but can't wait to try.  Keep sharing all of your great DIY ideas!!Have a great day ladies!!

I tried to cut cost by making my own invitations and favors (candy buffet from costco). I was originally going to serve drinks, but ended up cutting it completely out of my budget, so that I wouldn't go broke . My bridesmaids are coming over this week to help with the centerpieces. I also told my parents (nicely) that I am not inviting any one that I do not know personally, so that cut my guest list by 30%.

Enjoy the last 9 months, they will fly by!! I can't believe I'm just a few weeks away. I was also very concerned about the guest list in the beginning. We invited 160 thinking that we'd have somewhere around 120 by wedding time. Right now we are at 84. Things happen and people will drop. I'm happy with our number now as it saves us money too! But I agree that you should do DIY whenever you can. My advice is start early because those projects really take up so much time!

Totally relating here!!  7 months away and frankly I'm wondering where the past 5 went.  My list is growing and budget isn't as well.  It's all just too much to think about!  I'm just hoping I can pull it together in the end.  Good luck!!!
