O'ahu Catering Question!

Has anyone used Kahai Kitchen?? my FMIL recommended it and I checked out the menu.. it looks tasty but I didn't see any prices on it so I have to check back with them.

Their food is yummy! The staff at the restaurant are super nice...and the sous chef is so friendly!! Catering Connection actually uses them for their food and the prices are pretty reasonable.  I dunno if you wanna go through CC or just go through them directly.  I think it'd be cheaper if you inquired directly to be quite honest! The braised beef is one of their best sellers and it's fall off the bone good. We tried some of their appetizers and they had some avocado egg rolls with wasabi aioli...my FI doesn't even like wasabi and he ate it up!! We also tried their blackened mahi with tomato salsa, that was ehh. Seriously, the tomato salsa tasted like it came out of a jar. But their sirloin steak with the mushroom demi glaze dish is yumm-o!! Soo good!! FI ordered that one and wished I did too! Their food presentation is also excellent.  Kahai is actuallly our second choice for catering! HTH!!

I've never used them for catering but has been there for lunch.  I ordered the Furikake Mahi and thought it was really good.  It will definitely go over well with the local palate.  Hope that helps.

So, I always look up the places people ask about on here, that aren't straight caterers, to get ideas for regular places to eat during our time on Oahu.I found this review on "Hawaii Eats" blog - her office had Kahai cater for them (about 30 people).
