aw: wedding band - check! PIP (i hope)

so FI and i went to jewelry district today to check out wedding bands. i thought i knew what i wanted (3 baguettes - 2 side tapered ones and 1 regular in the middle).... but kinda liked this one instead. they didn't have what i had originally thought i wanted with set diamonds, so i could see exactly what it would look like (only in their catalogue). i like it. but am worried bc i don't LOVE it. yet. what do you guys think? It's really pretty. And I love your e-ring. But it would bug me that it doesn't seem to match the e-ring. Can you have a jeweler make one that will hug your e-ring? I'd want to see the e-ring next to a band w/ baguettes to see how it compared.

carrie_oz --- that's what i thought too! but the more i looked at it, i did like the sparkle that it provided but yet didn't take away from the engagement ring. also, i can wear this band alone (the other one i wanted, you can't). here's what tapered baguettes one: and here's another one i tried one that i sort of liked as well: [imghttp://tinyurl.com/yfzd2ob[/img] ughhh... i made the wrong choice, didn't i?? :(

You know, after looking at them both, I think I prefer the one you picked! It's hard, I think, b/c not all rings look better with a band stacked next to them. I think mine is like this, so I may not wear them next to each other all the time. I have lots of friends who don't wear them together, and I'm not sure I will either.

I LOVE it. That's the kind I would have picked out for myself however my E-ring is channel set so it didn't really go...

I love it!  It's definitely sparkly!  Because of the way your e-ring is set, I don't think any band will sit right up next to it (unless you get on of those v-bands).

My e-ring is shaped the same way yours is, so I'm going to have the same issue. I really love the band you picked, it's beautiful!

preeeety!  when i was shopping for wedding bands, *none* of them looked right with my e-ring.  i think it's just because i wasn't used to seeing anything next to it.  when i first got my e-ring, it took a while to get used to too.  i like the one you chose, and i love that you can wear it alone if you choose.  it gives you options...e-ring and band on one hand, e-ring and band on separate hands, just e-ring, just wedding band.

your e ring is beautiful! i really love that style of band. i think it is a classic timeless band that goes with anything. i did go pretty matchy matchy with my wedding bands but i kinda wish i would have gotten something like your choice because it is really stylish. just another fyi at first i didn't really love my wedding bands either. now i love them! on a side note i checked out your bio and i see your using kathe and aloha on the rocks. used both of them for my wedding and they were WONDERFUL! i love love love kathe and shaun!

I love the first one you PIPed! Mine does not sit flush either, but I have a band like your fits pic and it just looks so good anyways. Plus, those bands look so beautiful when worn alone too! Very classic and modern...it won't date and it looks awesome with you E-Ring!

Wow it is scary how similar peoples tastes are on this board. My E ring is similar to yours no side stones and 6 prongs but my band is almost exactly like it. I also couldn't decide between sparkly and just a regular band so I got both :) so I will be wering three rings. The reason that I did this was I know that we plan on having kids and also traveling so if I wanted to take my e ring off to protect this kids from scraching or to protect it on a trip I would still have sparkle and a wedding band. I love what you have chosen.
