Hairstylists on Maui

Does anybody have suggestions for hairstylists on Maui? I've heard a lot about Dan Sanchez and a little about Shelly from Mariah's Mane.  What do you think? If you prefer to email here's my address: deeandsamwedding@gmail.comThanks!Dee

Aloha I used Beautiful Maui Brides by Marci. http://www.mauibeautifulbrides.com/index.htm She did my hair & makeup and I was very pleased. I have very curly hair and at the time it was very long. I wore it half up & half down with small white orchids in it. The trade winds on maui can be an issue and my hair held up very well. It's been too many years since my wedding to remember how much I paid but I remember thinking she was reasonable and worth every penny. Good luck!

I used Dan, and I thought he was great. He gave me exactly what I wanted - except I didn't tell him what to do other than "organic, interesting, low". I know Jess (the make-up artist) works a lot with both of them, so I doubt you could go wrong.

My coordinator recommended hair and makeup to be done by Shelly from Mariah's Mane. Since it's only me getting the services she said it wouldn't be worth it to pay for separate hair and makeup. Otherwise she would have recommended Dan Sanchez.

I used Dan Sanchez and Jessica Waite. I don't have enough good things to say about them for my hair and makeup. I felt gorgeous on our wedding day. My mom and MIL used them as well and weren't thrilled with how they looked. They both have very short hair and don't normally wear makeup so they didn't feel like themselves.
