Help! Need opinions of dress!

I am getting married in less than 6 months and need to order a dress ASAP! I tried this one on last weekend and really loved it, that is until my mom made some comments about the bottom of it being "too much". It's going to be a casual outdoor wedding at Lanikuhonua. So now I'm second guessing myself and wondering if this dress is indeed "too much" for the wedding we have planned. I'd really appreciate others input! Thanks!http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a133/kellie82/IMG_0418.jpghttp://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a133/kellie82/IMG_0422.jpghttp://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a133/kellie82/IMG_0423.jpg

I think the dress is beautiful!!  I definitely do not think it is too much, but I am also one of those brides that thinks you should be able to WOW everyone on your day!

I don't think it's too much, it's actually a similar style to what I want. I think its really pretty and if you love it that's all that matters.

The dress looks great on you...it is not too formal for Lani.  What matters is if you like and feel comfortable in the dress.  There are no more rules anymore that a certain type of dress must be worn at a certain type of venue.  Is the dress an halter style? J. :-)

I think the dress looks great on you! Anything goes on your wedding day cause it's YOUR wedding day. As long as it's comfy and you feel beautiful in it, go for it!!

Thank you so much for all the comments!!  I'm usually not an indecisive person, but I feel like this is such a huuuuge decision that I almost feel scared to pick one.  It's not a halter style, but actually has straps.  I really do like it...  I think it might be the one!  Thanks again everyone!! :)

i agree with the other girls! It looks great! As my MOH told me when i was dress shopping, its still your wedding day and you still want to feel like a princess. So go as big as you want!

How can it be "too much?" Isn't the bride supposed to stand out? I think it's great. What matters is how you feel in it. Don't worry if it appears to be "too much" or "too plain." It's your day!

After reading your post, I had an image in my mind of what *might* be "too much."  Your dress didn't even come close to what was in my mind.  It looks gorgeous on you.  If you love it, then stop second guessing yourself and get it!!!!!!!!  :)

Some people have somewhat outdated ideas of what works for a destination wedding. You're getting married at a gorgeous outdoor location that's frankly a lot nicer than many places girls with "fancier" dresses will wear on the mainland. Bottom line - if you love it, you should wear it.

Ditto everyone else... I think it looks fine for the Lani.  There have plenty of other brides here who've had similar "fancy" dresses.  :)

I've been the kind of girl that doesn't think any wedding dress is "too much".  I love it when the dress is WOW! I say go for it, because there will be a dress that you'd consider more casual that comes along and you'll always remember the dress you turned down.
