I'm excited, because I have finally have some big checks!  Our engagement is just 6 months... and I've admittedly been very laid-back about wedding planning despite the time constraint.  Probably because it's just 12 of us.  :)We're getting married Easter Sunday.FI's uncle will marry us.We have a wedding planner, and her husband is a pastor, so he'll help us out since FI's uncle isn't licensed to marry in HI.We've reserved a private property in Hawaii Kai for our ceremony and a catered dinner.We reserved our reception site for when we return home.And semi-related, but not directly wedding related.  FI and I are long-distance and I'll be moving in with him.  So I put my house on the market this week.  Craziness!YAY!

    Yay for all the big checks but even more YAY for the moving in with him.  DH and I were long distance for a LONG time so I know how exciting that must be.  WOO HOO!

    Those really are the biggest checks, too! The rest of it is more fun and will come easier. There's only 21 of us, so we are doing a private estate for our wedding also. Hawaii Kai will be a gorgeous setting for your big day! Good luck selling your house - lots of big things happening!

    that's so great! congratulations on all those checks!!! Hawai'i Kai is beautiful - did you reserve a house near the water??? FI and I are long distance too... I can't wait until we get back together!!!

    When I said that I'm moving... I meant after the wedding!  Too much craziness to move now.  But the wedding is only a few months away after all.  :)And yes, we rented a property that is right on the beach.  But it's perfect, cuz we can have our ceremony on the lawn.  (FI didn't want to get married directly on sand.)  Yay!
