Great! Ok so I know i'm supposed to be thrilled for my little sister (Also my MOH) who just found out that she's prego. BUT i'm totally bummed!! I never in a million years thought that I would ever get married without her standing next to me. (I still can't say that without crying) She just found out today that she's due on July 21st. My wedding is July 4th! The doctor told her that most likely she will be able to fly. Ok, god willing, she is able to go, what the heck is she going to wear??? Any thoughts? I know BM dresses take time to order, but who knows what size she'll be at 8 months. This really sucks. Any thoughts?

Congrats on becoming an aunt!!! I am sure that if you went to a bridal shop they would be to help you figure out all of this. I am sure that they do this all of the time Good Luck! Congrats again! (don't worry it will be ok)

Congratulations to your family!  You may want to check on a lot of things regarding this.  First of all, typically you can't fly after your 7th month pregnant and second - even if the Dr. okayed it several airlines will not allow pregnant women that close to their due date on board.  FI brother was getting married 2 months before my due date and my Dr. forbid me to travel (he still to this day doesn't know that I went anyway, and I ended up in the hospital the week we got back), and when we were checking in at the airport the airline did ask me my due date to make sure there was no risk of me giving birth on the plane.  As far as dress....I agree with the above, go to a bridal shop.  I'm sure they deal with this all the time.  Good luck!!

Oh, I hope she is able to go!There are so many cute and beautiful dresses that have an empire waist and are loose and flowy.  Like the others gals mentioned, a bridal shop should be able to help you.

First congrats on being an aunt!!! I know how you feel...the same thing happened to my MOH and it broke my heart, but I was so happy at the same time! It's a funny emotion. One thing I do know though (sorry to say bad news!) is that she was due 2 weeks after my wedding and there was no way her doctor would let he get on an airplane. I don't want to bum you out, but just want to make sure you are prepared now and don't get let down later As for dresses, there are a thousand cute options (I just saw a girlfriend of mine 8 months preggers and she was in a wedding and looked SO CUTE! Empire waist is all you need Good luck and we will be thinking of you and sending you lots of vibes...I know this is bitter sweet!!
