need help with groomsmen and dh attire

I am wearing a champagne dress so I was going to have my dh wear a black suit with champagne tie and vest. I am only having a matron of honor and she is wearing choc brown.  The ushers and bm are also wearing a black suit.  Do you think white shirts and brown ties??? or other suggestions?  Has anyone seen some classic brown ties.

Why not keep it classic and do black tuxes and black ties? The whole matchy match thing looks a little dated to me, especially when the tie color doesn't really go with the tux color.

Perhaps instead of doing white shirts, it may be better to use ivory or a warm tone shirt. Using white when your other colors are warmer may look odd in pictures. If you are looking for some brown ties I would look at the department stores or men's retail stores for some solids or something in a coordinating pattern you like. Looking at retailers will give you more options than tuxedo rental stores, and you'll add a little more flair than what they can give you. Giving the ties you select to his ushers and bm would make a great wedding gift the guys can wear again.
