STERLING The lodge and surrounding area is beautiful. The food is delicious, and the setting is exactly what we wanted. There were however a few short comings with their customer service. I believe the root of these shot comings lies in the fact that we had to deal with so many different people. Their communication amongst their staff was lacking, and resulted in us having to let them know the same things over and over. On the day of the wedding, several of our requests were not honored (like replacing soup for salad on the buffet, or providing cake cutting utensils as they had promised).  They also overlooked little details, like providing ketchup for the chicken tenders and French fries on the kids menu. When we mentioned these short comings following the event they issued a refund for the gratuity, which I felt was very nice. If we had to do it all over again, we would still hold it at Deer Creek. It was so convenient to have the lodging, ceremony, and reception all in one site and everyone had a GREAT time at the lodge. We look forward to returning to the lodge for family vacations in the years to come.  Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-ansi-language:#0400; mso-fareast-language:#0400; mso-bidi-language:#0400;} A++ CAKE ‘A CATERED AFFAIR’ Judi is awesome! She’s friendly and really listens to what you have in mind. Our cake was not only beautiful but delicious! She uses homemade butter cream and makes it look just as beautiful as fondant and it’s sooo tasty. Many of our guest said it was the best cake they’d ever tasted. She’s very thoughtful and even made cupcakes for the kids at the wedding! Working with Judi was an all around wonderful experience.A My wedding and engagement rings ROGER AND HOLLANDS JEWELERSWe're very pleased with my rings, they're unique and match very well although they wern't made to go together. They were just a little expensive, but because we were purchasing both they worked with us and came down quite a bit on the price! A+ His Ring BOONE TITANIUMI was reluctant to order his ring off the internet, but VERY pleased with the result! Bruce custom makes each ring, he's very personable and emails you to let you know he received your order. He emailed again the next day to let me know he was starting on the ring, and then again later that day when it was finished. He was very informative, and answered my questions promptly. We went with the wood grain titanium mokumanium ring and it's really great and very reasonably priced! It was presented in a nice box and custom engraved for just $10.00 more.

My husband got his ring from Boone too! We actually happened to be in Atlanta over Memorial Day Weekend for a wedding, so we stopped by his house to look at his rings in person, and to pick one out. He's a very nice guy and makes some beautiful and unique looking rings!
