He told me last week that he was going to ask his gf to marry him, and I thought it was a big joke until he showed me the receipt for the ring (what a jerk I am!). They're both 20 and have only been going out for a few months, but I guess it's a love at first sight thing! I really like her and her family and I am totally happy for them! The idea just took a little getting used to I guess. And they are getting married before us (in June or July and FI and I are in October). That was a bit of a bummer because I thought I was going to be the first kid to get married. oh well! At least I know our weddings will be completely different, and my mom says that my family will get a lot of practice for our wedding! Yay for weddings! Haha!
