North Bank Pavillion

Hi All,I am starting to look for reception sites and I thought of North Bank. Has anyone gotten married there? If so, what is pricing and how is the city to work with? Thank you!

I have been to an event there, and it was absolutely beautiful.  However, the process of renting it can be a pain in the rear if you are getting married during a popular time.  They run on a lottery system in order to rent, and if you don't "win", you're out unless you are willing to change your date.  I went to three weeks of lotteries on Fridays, and each time I went, there were 10-15 other people there for the same day as me.  Of course, September was a big wedding month, so maybe it isn't like that all year long, but that was my experience.  I believe it was either $150 or $300 an hour to rent, and you have to bring in your own caterer and bar staff.  Plus, you need to purchase an alcohol permit of some kind in order to have alcohol served.GL!  It is a beautiful space!

I had my RD there... very beautiful, difficult to win the lottery. When I rented it, it was $150 an hour and $300 for the hour of 11:00 pm. to midnight. Staff at Parks and Rec very easy to work with, the staff at NBP NOT EASY TO WORK WITH. It's worth the hassle if you like the space, our RD ended up being beautiful. I can give you more info on our experience if you'd like. Check out pics in my wedding bio below!

I'm having my reception there in June, and so far have no complaints with the staff!  Its 200 per hour with a 4 hour minimum rental. The last hour of 11pm-12am is $400 though. Besides it being really cool (especially at night) with the city lit up in the background, you can pick any caterer you want. You do however have to pick a bartender from their "approved" list which they will give you for free if you call and request it. I'm not sure what your guest list size is, but the max there is around 200 people, (you'd need to rent a tent for the brick patio area even at that amount) which is what I am doing too!HTH

My son's AHR was there 2 years ago.  The thing that gets me is how often the policies seem to change.  It seems like every time someone inquires about it things change- they used to have an approved list of caterers and bartenders, when we used it the indoor limit was 85 people- you could only have more with a tented area outside.  It has also become much more popular because my son and DIL had no problem at all getting their first choice of dates for a Sept. reception but shortly after that it went to the whole lottery thing. All that being said it is an absolutely lovely place for a wedding/reception so I hope you can get the date you want!!

I had my Rehearsal Dinner there a few weeks ago, and it was wonderful! Everything went great for me. Check out my wedding bio for pics.
