Wedding coordinator at Lanikuhonua

Happy new year everyone!  I'm debating whether to hire a day of coordinator or not for my wedding at Lanikuhonua.  Day of wedding coordinators for lani are at least 1700+ as far as I've seen, which was a bit of a price shock to me considering it's only day of.   So far, I feel like I'm pretty organized when it comes to researching and securing my own vendors in my price range.  So, has anyone gone without a coordinator there?  It that even allowed?

We ended up at a private estate as Lanikuhonua was booked for our date, but I definitely would have at least a day-of coordinator.   As we were on-site, we saw all of the different things that were coming in and out during the day and I saw her directing vendors, adjusting positioning, lining up chairs,, etc and I can't imagine one of my family members having to do that.     You can try our WC, she had a package actually named after Lanikuhonua and is there all the time.  www.hawaiiweddingsandevents.com

As of this year I have heard that they require you to name your coordinator when booking. We used Dianna from Hawaii Weddings & Events & can't say enough what a God send she was...organizing everything & dealing w/ the layout & vendors. She was great We only had 46 of us, but she was WELL worth the money for our families to enjoy the wedding stress free!
