Vital Statistics in Star Bulletin

Hello, anyone know how long it takes for your names to be published in the vital statistics of the star bulletin after getting married? I'd like to get a copy of the paper as a wedding momento. Its been about 3 weeks since the wedding and I haven't seen our names yet...I'm also worried our pastor forgot to submit the paperwork, seems it might be rude to ask though :P

    I got married on October 1st (Friday), I checked on the 3rd, wasn't in the paper.  Checked on the 10th, wasn't in there yet.  I had my friend's cousin check on the 17th and she finally saw our names! :)

    it depends on when your pastor submits the paperwork, and then it takes ~3 weeks from then.

    Ours actually came out really fast, we were married on the 10th and it came out this past week :)

    55pawsh, I was married on 10/10 as well! But I haven't seen ours yet. Will keep a lookout this weekend...sounds like it can range anywhere from 2-4 weeks.
