Hi!  I wanted to respond to your question about the parasols...

Guests loved them, but they didn't take them home for whatever reason, maybe b/c almost all guests had to get on an airplane, or maybe they didn't know they could have them.  I would definitely get them again if I had to do it all over again.

I ended up just giving the parasols to my WC, Lori Lawrence on Maui--and I think you're an Oahu, bride, right?  So they probably wouldn't be very useful to you.  But I got them for a reasonable price from Oriental Trading Company.

The basket was Lori's that she let me borrow.

    ah, thanks! yeah, oahu so i guess i couldn't use them. hehe.

    do you know how i would get the pink parasol? i presume just pay her for shipping to oahu?

    Cai - for what its worth, my mom has been hunting for a basket for our parasols at home.  She has had pretty good luck at Ross and Pier 1....our problem has been finding matching baskets because I want to put the parasols in one and the lauhala fan/programs in the other.
