Turtle Bay and other reviews

We got married at Turtle Bay on October 17 and I'm finally getting around to posting some reviews!

Turtle Bay: A
Everything at Turtle Bay was great.  Sheri, our coordinator, was great to work with -- very attentive and she took care of everything.  They did the food and the cake and it was all amazing.  We got so many compliments on both.

Flower Farm: A++
Koa was the BEST!  The whole process was a great experience.  He always responded quickly to emails and phone calls, and he just had a great vision to help me carry out what I had in mind. The flowers turned out better than I imagined.  Koa and an assistant also stuck around so they could move the floral arrangements from the ceremony to the reception.

L'Amour Photography: A+
Wendy and Eric are two of the sweetest people.  They are a husband and wife team based in Honolulu (although they do travel). Their prices are reasonable and they take amazing photos.  We have about 300 posted so far on their website and I am so happy with how they are turning out.  Again, they are a great team and I feel like we were working with friends, not just vendors. Pastor Ron Valenciana: A
Pastor Ron was great. He let us customize our ceremony to exactly what we wanted. Very nice man!

DJ Tony So: B
Tony was really nice to work with.  We sent him a list of songs artists we liked ahead of time and worked with him on the timeline. His mix of fast and sllow songs left a little to be desired, but he did keep the party going, which I appreciated.

We had a great experience with all our vendors. If anyone wants other info, just let me know.

Beautiful pictures! I am thinking of having my wedding there as well.  I loved your guest book idea... where did you find the cute board?  Also who did you contact at Turtle Bay?  Thanks for the help and Congrats

Laura, your pics are amazing! Matthewsjo -- Thanks for the compliments.  I loved our photographers.  They knew the property and all the perfect palces to go to for photos.  I found the surfboard online at tikisoul.com.  It's a company based in Florida, I think.  It took about 4 weeks to get the board, but they have tons of designs, sizes and even let you customize what artwork you would like. My contact at Turtle Bay was Sheri Chang. She was assigned as my coordinator once I submitted a contract.  Everyone there was so nice to work with.

Japnezdoll -- I will send you an email so we can chat more.  The BM dress were by Alfred Angelo.  They had a lot of cute, short cocktail dresses in a ton of colors.  They were also affordable.  I know one of my BMs is going to wear the dress to her husband's office holiday party so they can definitely be worn again!
