Centerpieces!

I made a kind of mock-up centerpiece a while back. It looks like this. 

It a bit rough around the edges, but I was pretty happy with it. I have lots more ornaments and fake flowers and whatnot to put in them.  I'm going to have everyone take a little ornament or bauble out as a favor if they want. I plan to put a little note saying that in the table number picture frames.

That's cute!  Not my style, but stil cute.  Our wedding is in the winter, but there is no reference to winter in the decorating.  The only wintery thing we're doing is having hot chocolate and hot apple cider available at the cocktail hour (which is before the ceremony for us).  

We got a sample of our centerpiece from our florist last week.  I should have taken a picture of it, but didn't.  It's a low cube vase with hydrangas, roses, and orchids in various shades of purple and ivory.  FI and I gave it to his mother as an early mother's day present, at the advice of our florist.  She's a fun lady to work with.
