What do you think?

My wedding is July 3rd.  Is 4pm too early in the day for an outdoor ceremony?  I don't want people to fry in the heat..

Your advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

ETA: and how do you get the little wedding day count down things on your posts?

My wedding is the weekend after yours and we are planning on doing a 4:30pm outdoor ceremony. We are going to do the programs that are fans and might get some bottled water etc. and try to keep the ceremony short. I personally did not want to push it back any further because everyone tells me the reception flies by as it is I did not want to cut it even shorter!

OP--I'd go with PP advice, just make sure to have a supply of water and fans (program fans are cute!)

As for the ticker---if you look in your bio you'll see a little picture of a ticker, click on that and it should link you to the area on TK where you can create one if you haven't already.  You should also get the "code" or whatever it's called lol to paste into your siggy in your bio and presto!  hahaha hopefully it should work/made sense to you.  Maybe someone else can explain it better

4 pm seems like a good time in the day to do it. It's the time of day where it starts to cool down a bit, so I think you should be fine.
