Pashmina

When reading a previous post about BM gifts and hearing all about 'Pashmina's' I had to look what they were because I didn't know.  I would love to get these for my BM's because I am having a late fall wedding...

For those that bought them...where did you purchase from and what is the price?  What you recommend for a size..shawl, wrap?

Right now Herbergers has some really nice ones on sale for 9.95.

I've seen them at Burlington before. I've also seen them in a few stores at Rosedale Mall-- one is a new store that had them for $10 on sale (near where ragstock used to be), and the other was a little store run by an Asian family. I think they were like $6 there, but may have been knock-offs-- they didn't seem like the others I'd seen. 

ETA-- that store at Rosedale is called LEN-- everything there is always half off.

i got mine from JCP for $6.99 as an black Friday early bird.  I am sure you can still get them for around $10-15.00 on sale at different places.

Warning... a lot of the ones you see in stores will be like $60-$100. I was a little shocked by some of the prices and almost gave up on my quest to find them. A lot of the really inexpensive ones I saw were kind of thin and cheaply made, but I managed to find some REALLY nices ones for about $20 each at Macy's.

Target also has some super-soft pashminas in many colors. Theirs are $20, but totally worth it. They wash well and never fade.
