Heartstrings Bridal??

Has anyone bought their dress from Heartstrings Bridal in Hopkins?  Good experience?  Do they have a good seamstress?  I wanted to check to see if Heartstrings is a good place before handing them my money!

    I am planning to go there on Friday to purchase my dress.  I've been there a few times to try on dresses.  Their customer service isn't the best and isn't horrible.  They are definately not pushy.  They give you your space and time, but at times I wanted them to help a bit more.  A coworker of mine bought her dress there, but had a family friend alter it so I'm not sure about the alterations. I aslo am curious if anyone has had their dress altered there....

    Ditto kclepire. I bought my dress there, and the service was so-so. I got a good vibe, so that's where I bought. No complaints... The girl who measured me when I bought my dress was WAY off, so I went in to pay for it, and they remeasured to something more reasonable. I'm glad I did - my dress came in nearly perfect-fitting. I got my dress altered with Louise - I picked up my dress from Heartstrings when it came in and kept it at my house for a couple months, then hauled it to Louise's 2 months before the wedding. Heartstrings will keep it for 30 days unless you do your alterations there.

    Littlesweetie - that's good to know on them only keeping for 30 days.  I am planning on getting it and going to Louise.  Now I need to determine where to store the dress...

    You could pull the ol' bait and switch: [Dress comes in:] Yes, I will use your alterations lady. [2 months pre-wedding/first fitting with Louise:] Oh, I actually decided to take my dress elsewhere, sorry!

    I went to Heartstrings like 4 times because they were the only store that had my dress. I went there many times to show different people the dress and they were never pushy or anything like that. Like everyone said, the service was so-so, but since I wasn't ordering my dress there that was fine for me.
