At home reception for my sister suggestions??

Hey so I am doing a little research for my sister (who is getting engaged this weekend!). She is having a destination wedding but would like to have an at home reception for the peeps that won't be able to come and extended family. Her destination wedding will only be immediate family.She is looking for something not expensive and that she doesn't have to do a lot of work for. I know she doesn't like reception halls like hotel ones. I did a little research and read up on Atlas Grill. Anyone been to a wedding there or are having there. They have a food and beverage minimum. Anyone know what it is?Any suggestions of venues for maybe around 100 to 150 people. No real budget just cheap as possible.Thanks in advance!!

What type of vibe is she going for? Gluek's has a party room that would be standing room only for 100 or so - not sure if that's what you're looking for or not.

Hey chap- maybe check out Spill the Wine, I had a friend planning her reception there and she was very happy with it. I can't comment on the finished product though as they sadly called it off, but it could be worth looking into!http://www.spillthewinerestaurant.com/private_dining.asp

Chateau La Mothe in Burnsville could also be an option. It's a restaurant/wine bar and has held some awesome events.
