Minnesota-Minneapolis and St. Paul

Recommend your florist

I'm planning a Minnesota wedding from out of town, and am kind of lost on where to start regarding florists...  I've seen Devon Nelson and Simply Stated Elegance recommended here, but what else should I check out?

My budget is moderate - I'd like to keep it as low as possible but I'm willing to pay for better quality or service if needed.  My date is Nov. 6th, so I suspect that limits what's considered in-season.

hmm. I'm November 7th, so I'm not sure she'll be able to work with you? I think she does limited weddings at a time... but she's been great to work with!

Sadie from Sadie's Floral Designs is awesome! She has been really creative in coming up with ways for us to stay within our budget, but still get the look that we want.

Well... I recommend Simply Stated Elegance again.... I did lots of research and she came up the best bang for your buck as far as flowers go.

Thanks for the suggestions.  A follow up question - how many florists do you think I should meet with before I choose??

We met with two, which was plenty.  We have fairly simply requirements for flowers, so it was really just getting a feeling for who we "clicked with" better.

We are using Deven Nelson, and she's been great so far!

I would recommend checking out Sarah with Westvig Florals. She beat any other quote we had gotten and is super sweet. Here is her website: http://www.westvig.com/

I've got another recommendation for you here!

She's super-fantastic, and her prices are currently really low because she's just starting out on her own. We're at about $500 for a LOT of flowers. I LOVE her style - it's very natural and not your typical "bridal flower" style.

I am using pearson's floral out of shakopee.  The florists name is Ellie and she has been absolutely amazing!!!  I am using an abundance of lilies and orchids an my total is 550 with tax!  I checked with three also and it really is about who you click with better.  Good luck to you!
