I'm not exactly a newbie, but I'll play ;-)

1. Name? FI's Name? Allison & Jon

2. First kiss? Wedding date? Our first kiss was in his bedroom. We were laying watching tv and he was giving me a back rub and just kept getting closer and closer until he kissed me. I honestly didn't even know what was happening because it was before we were dating and we had been just really close friends for three years. It was really sweet though

4. How'd you meet FI/H? Playing boyfriend/girlfriend in a community theater production of West Side Story

5. Favorite date you've been on? My favorite dates are the ones where we get to spend the whole day, just the two of us. Things have been so crazy the past couple of years so it's not often that we get time alone to enjoy being together rather then not seeing each other until we fall exahusted into bed at the end of yet another long day.

6. What's one thing you always remember about weddings? Food and the ceremony. I know most people don't remember much about the ceremony but I'm a big cheese ball and it's one of my favorite parts, for sure.

My First Kiss w/ David happened the night he officially asked me to be his Girlfriend at a HS Dance. Afterwards we went back to my friends house and watched Jeepers Creepers. I scare easily so he held me the entire time and stole a kiss to take me mind off how scared I was.

4. How'd you meet FI/H?

In HS - We were Math Partners.

5. Favorite date you've been on?

FI and I have been long distance since HS so we don't get to go on dates at all. But the last time I drove 11 hrs to visit him - he surprised me with Dinner made. He is a mess in the kitchen but he tried and it was just want I needed after the long drive.
Years ago he took me up to the Carosol (sp?) downtown St. Paul up on top the Crown Plaza I believe . Its a super fancy restaurant and we had a blast.

6. What's one thing you always remember about weddings? 
The first look - and when the Parent's hand over the Bride. I cry so hard. I think mostly because my Dad passed away back in Jan. and I'll never have that. But its special to see the joy Parents have for their Children that day.

My favorite Wedding Moment::: My Cousin's Wedding. They were blending their families - My Cousin has 2 sons from a previous relationship and a Daughter with his now Wife. Well at the presenting of the Rings - My Cousin's oldest son (7 yrs old) presented a ring to the Bride from them asking her to be their step mom. The Priest even blessed the ring. It was very special and there was not a dry eye in the church.

Our first kiss was my first kiss ever (I was nearly 20! hahaha).  He had come to visit me at my dorm room and I walked him to his car and he just kissed me.  I was really caught off guard but it was really sweet.

4. How'd you meet FI/H?

We worked together in SD at a hospital.  After we started dating we found out our moms went to elementary school together in a super small IA town.  Crazy small world!

5. Favorite date you've been on?

Hmmm....after almost 4.5 years it's hard to pick one! But the Blue Man Group concert we went to was a lot of fun!

6. What's one thing you always remember about weddings?
Well I've only been to about 3 weddings since I was little (all within the last 4 years) and I guess I remember the vows the best, the look on the bride and grooms' faces when they're looking at each other.  I went to a wedding for a coworker in June and her and her new husband gave each other huge high fives after the "I now prounouce you" part.  It was really cute and I think I'll always remember that lol.

2. First kiss? Wedding date? Our first kiss was on our 3rd date...we had spent the day ice skating then had lunch, and afterwards all we wanted to do was take a nap. So we went back to his house and we layed in his bed nose to nose and then he FINALLY kissed me. Only took him 3 dates! haha.

4. How'd you meet FI/H? We met on Singlesnet.com -- may I add, I got his message when I was logging on to cancel my account. I was so "done" with guys and thought "if it's meant to be, it will happen."  Well, it did

5. Favorite date you've been on? our 3rd date - ice skating. It was totally his idea, and I thought it was so darn cute! We still go on ice skating dates, but nothing compares to the first one.

6. What's one thing you always remember about weddings?  The songs being played. I'm a huge music fan, and I believe music really sets the tone for everything. I also love how music tells a story -- so I get very choked up during first dances...father/daughter dance. SIGH. I'm gonna be a wreck when I'm the one that's experiencing all that.

2. First kiss? Wedding date?Our first kiss was about a week and half after we first met. There was a lot of flirting in that first week and a half. We had been at a poker game with some coworkers and the tension was kind of building between us. We both left the game early and stepped outside in the dark and I think I said something stupid like "I've never been kissed before you know" and so he quickly remedied that!

5. Favorite date you've been on?Not sure I have a favorite. I really enjoy any time we get to spend together. I guess my favorite thing to do together is go out hiking. 
6. What's one thing you always remember about weddings? What I remember most is just that general feeling of love, celebration and happiness that surrounds people at a wedding. And how pretty everything and everyone is! I'm such a sucker for flowers, ribbon, pretty dresses and fancy food.

Wedding date?  Our first kiss was on our first date.  We'd gone to Southdale to see "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and out for dinner at PF Chang's, then we were in my car and he was giving me (or was I giving him?) a shoulder rub, then we started making out, and kept making out for the next 9 hours.  Our wedding date is 4/9/11.

4. How'd you meet FI/H?  match.com  I was looking for tall guys and sent him a message (it was one of those free communication periods) and got to talking from there.

Favorite date you've been on?  It's been soooo long since we've been on a real date.  We've had a really good time on the trips we've been on to Duluth and San Francisco.  We went to Duluth for our first anniversary and to SF to visit my BFF, but spent a couple days on our own in SF.  We're really good at traveling together.  Another good date was when I planned and made a whole picnic (steak baguette sandwiches with arugula, provolone, carmelized onions, lemon mayo and other goodies) that we ate at Lake Calhoun.  It'd have been better if it weren't 92 degrees out that day.

6. What's one thing you always remember about weddings?  The cake. Duh.  I always remember the food in general and what kind of a place it's in.  The ceremonies themselves are all a blur.

Anytime that we get to spend together I love since he works so much...but the most recent is when I took him skydiving for his birthday...so awesome.

6. What's one thing you always remember about weddings? 

If there is anything during the ceremony that makes me cry...song, groom crying, etc.  Otherwise the food...I am a really picky eater so if I love it, huge thumbs up!!!!!!

Our first kiss happened on our third date.... He is a shy guy and so I asked him after the second date in a text what he was thinking about when I left and all he said was... "I really wanted to kiss you!" and so on the third date I was leaving again and this time he grabbed my face (my FAVORITE) and pulled me in for a kiss.

We met on Match.com. I was curious to see who was "out" there in my area as I had moved back home and hadn't gotten involved in many groups. I was bored so I joined! After making my profile on Sunday, I was curious and going crazy on Wednesday to see had "looked" at my profile so I joined for a month - saw that Grant had looked at my profile so I "winked" at him... well the rest is history! We talked through email for two days and then texts and by Saturday we went out on our first date. It was the best $40 I have ever spent in my life for 3 days of conversation!

5. Favorite date you've been on?

There are so many! I would have to say though my most recent "favorite" date has to be on our -1 Anniversary! I wasn't expecting anything but he planned the entire day for us! We had lunch at the place we'd be celebrating our marriage at a year from that day, and dinner at the place we had our first date! He brought me flowers (the same bouquet he purchased for me on our first date) and also had the same table all set up. He just made it feel like a VERY special day for both of us! That night we took a walk and just talked about our wedding "dreams". He kept saying throughout the day "just think.... in a year from now we will be....." SO sweet!

6. What's one thing you always remember about weddings? 
I'm a sap... I remember the bride walking down the aisle with her parents/dad. (Yes, I cry!) and also the vows... I love the ones where people write personal ones!

Wedding date?  I guess our first kiss was the 2nd night I ever met him.  We had been at the same party and were talking all night.  He tried to get me to go back to his dorm (classy Tor) and I shot him down because I actually liked him and didn't want to do anything stupid!  So he asked if he could at least get a kiss (cheesy yes, we were both drinking all night...) So I gave him a weak lil kiss on the lips haha.  Our first REAL kiss didn't come for a few more weeks probably.

4. How'd you meet FI/H? My friends and I were walking home on a Friday night from a party and ran into a group of guys and started talking to them.  I was immediately drawn to Tory because he was so tall and I thought he was cute We all went our seperate ways but the next night we were at the same party and we've been hanging out ever since!  So glad we ended up at the same place the next night or who knows if we'd ever meet again!

5. Favorite date you've been on? We used to go to the same college but he transferred eventually so it's kind of been a slight long distance relationship since then...so the main time we spend together is on the weekends and alot of the time it's with family or friends with various things going on. So anytime we get to do something just the two of us, I love.  Probably my favorite thing is mini weekend roadtrips out of town somewhere!

6. What's one thing you always remember about weddings? When the bride is walking down the aisle and then her fam gives her away...gets me everytime! Also, the dance because they are usually so much fun!

We've had two, since we've technically dated twice (long and complicated story). However, the first one was in his bed. We had watched a movie earlier that night and decided we were tired and should head to bed. After laying in bed talking for about an hour he finally leaned over and kissed me. The second time was so spontaneous though that I really loved it!! We went to a concert of one of the bands that he liked. As we were standing listening to the music he spun me around and just kissed me.

I loved when he surprised me and took me to Rent the last time it was in town. He had all his friends asking me if I was going to come watch them compete in a contest downtown and make sure we weren't late. However, after he surprised me he told me the contest they were in had been about 2 hours earlier and they knew the whole time what was going on.

6. What's one thing you always remember about weddings?
Personal Touches. They seem to always come in the form of music, but really just personal things people do. One of our friends recorded a song for her DH and it was so cute to see the look on his face when  he realized it was her singing it.

First kiss was in his basement our freshman year of college. We just finished watching star wars - yea we are big dorks - and the screen went black and I swear I kissed him but he thinks he kissed me .

We got married just over three weeks ago on Oct 9th!

4. How'd you meet FI/H?

We both play Ultimate Frisbee and meet at an Ultimate GTG. It was a movie night and my friend had come with me and had to leave early and it just so happened that joe arrived late and the only spot left was right next to me. I am sure we were super annoying as we talked and goofed around through the rest of the movie.

5. Favorite date you've been on?

Can I count when he proposed? If so, he took me ice-skating which was actually one of our first dates so maybe that counts too . But I dont even like ice skating that much but so many memories are at that place - Centennial Lakes in Edina.

6. What's one thing you always remember about weddings? 
The food. Guess it comes from my Italian side .

2. First kiss? Wedding date? On our first date we went and played pool for a few hours, went to dinner and then went to his parents' house to watch movies. During one of the movies he got bold enough to put his arm around me... then eventually kissed me on the cheek and then eventually on the lips. It was sweet.

2. First kiss? Wedding date?We were both really shy. He hadn't made a move yet and I didn't want to be the one to do it, so I tricked him. I told him that I was going to tell him a secret, told him something silly, and then asked him to tell me one. He said that his secret was that he really wanted to kiss me, but that now he'd ruined it. It was so cute seeing him so awkward! His phone rang and he had to leave, so when we were saying goodbye he grabbed me and gave me a good one. It was very cute.

5. Favorite date you've been on?For some reason I have fond memories of our worst date (I think it was our 2nd or 3rd). I think it is because I look back and laugh. He took me to Kahn's BBQ. I just wasn't digging the process of picking up raw meat and standing in line for it to cook. After dinner we walked out to my car-- I drove because I had just bought a brand new car and I was anxious to use it. Someone at the next restaurant over had taken their grease-soaked potatoes and smeared them all over my windshield. He felt so bad for that night and still does. I just laugh. We made a memory.
6. What's one thing you always remember about weddings?As a child I was obsessed with the little bits of confetti that were sprinkled on the tables. Every wedding I went to as a kid I'd collect them. I have not been to many since I was a kid, so that is what I remember

4. How'd you meet FI/H?  Valentino's, he actually asked me to dance instead of coming up and groping me on the dance floor.  I thought he was sooooooo cute.  He came over to my apartment the next evening and we've been pretty much inseparable ever since.
5. Favorite date you've been on? I surprised Jeff with a trip to Chicago for our first anniversary.  We had dinner and saw blue man group and it was an amazing, fun, wonderful, romantic night.
6. What's one thing you always remember about weddings? The ceremony, for sure.  Anything personalized to the couple.

After we started dating officially, we didn't go on too many exciting dates. We just got back from New York City, though where we spent a day sightseeing, going to dinner, and then going to a show. That was fun.

I usually remember the ceremony and how fun the party was (or not).

I'll state right out that we were drunk when it happened, but I was completely sober when I told him (yes, it's true) that I had decided we should make out sometime that night. I was super attracted to him and I don't know, it was college and my roommate and I were like that sometimes, what can I say? So later in the evening he was playing the piano by himself, so I joined him on the piano bench and we talked/played piano/flirted. His friend called his cell, he answered and quickly ended the conversation with "Look, I have to go right now. There's this girl right here that I need to kiss" and he hung up on him and kissed me. We got married a couple weeks ago--- October 16, 2010!

5. Favorite date you've been on?I lived in India for work about 3 years ago and Andy came to visit me. We went to a place called Goa (on the beach) and rented a motorbike one afternoon.  It was exotic, yes, because it was India - but mostly it was just so wonderful to have him there for part of the adventure. Another favorite date was when we attempted to go ice skating at Centennial Lakes in Edina, but it was too slushy, so we went to Chucky Cheese midday on a weekday, followed by Maggiano's. It was just a weird, fun, hilarious day together!

6. What's one thing you always remember about weddings?
I love the sentimental stuff for sure, but I love a good dance and great food.

We originally wanted to have our wedding there, but realized the Centrum Building would be too small for what we were wanting to do.

Okay, we disagree on this. He thinks it was in his car when he was dropping me off one night. I think he walked me to my car when we'd left a friend's place, because I specifically remember leaning against my mom's Blazer I was borrowing since my car was being fixed. I was thinking that I didn't even care that I was getting dirty. Plus, I remember the date, Tuesday 9/23/03, and he has no clue, so I think I'm right.
Our wedding date is 11/6/10. Three. Days. Away. Holy sh!t!!!

We were both working at a DJ company.

I'd have to say the night he proposed. I thought we were just going someplace nice because he already happened to have his suit on for work. Then we stopped at the watchtower at Prospect Park where we'd gone on our first date... I had no idea that surprise dress-up date night was going to include a proposal! We went to eat/drink at Saffron to celebrate. I just remember being so giddy and ridiculously happy!

6. What's one thing you always remember about weddings?
How fun/not fun the party was, I guess. I remember random bits of stuff, so most of them are a bit blurry.

2. First kiss? Wedding date? First kiss was on the second date- it was the beginning of February so he came inside while his car warmed up a bit- so we took advantage of that. Wedding date is Oct 8, 2011

5. Favorite date you've been on? Probably the evening he proposed- we went to the Saint Paul Grill (where we had our first date) and he put a lot of effort into it, and it was really a great time!!

AHHHHHHHH I loved reading all of the first kiss stories... I think there is NOTHING better than a kiss. sigh...Thanks for sharing and here are my details.

2. First kiss? Wedding date? We were watching a movie and the electricity went out.... so of course we kissed = awesome. June 11, 2011

5. Favorite date you've been on? The night he took me out for sushi after popping the question... We were ridiculously gleeful and it felt amazing

2. First kiss? Wedding date? I don't really remember our first kiss to be honest! The first few weeks we were together were a whirlwind of activity.

Our wedding date isn't set in stone yet, but we are pretty sure it will be 01/07/12. A wintery wedding for this Minnesotan.

3. chocolate or vanilla? I'm a certified chocolate addict.

4. How'd you meet FI/H? We met at a party that my best friend was throwing at his house in River Falls, WI. They both met since they went to UWRF and my friend suggested that I meet him.

5. Favorite date you've been on? Last April we went to the opening game at Target Field, not the official season but the preseason opener. After the game on a GORGEOUS spring day, we walked around downtown and had a great dinner, and then spent the night at the Marquette hotel. It was a great day/evening.

6. What's one thing you always remember about weddings? For some reason I always remember the dancing at the reception. It's when everyone really lets loose and you see everyone have a lot of fun. I love it!
