Show me your cake/cupcake centerpieces

I know that we are using our cupcakes as centerpieces.....but I'd like to see yours.  I have an idea in my head (pics in bio) but after seeing our venue again this weekend, I'm wondering if it needs to be as elevated as I orginially envisioned.  Our tables seem lower than I thought......and without the elevation, we also elminate the risk of the centerpiece tipping.  Thoughts?

We are doing cupcake centerpieces too and I'm at a loss as to how we are going to pull it off! Great ideas on your part! I've seen home made one where they use a small lamp shade and rest a plate on top of them. I'm sure you could spray paint them whatever color you want as well. I need more ideas!

Trust your instincts and discuss the site with your baker who can offer some recommendations.  The reason is your baker might have something you can rent for next to nothing to provide the elevation you're looking for without having to stress about it (in other words, one less detail to worry about)...

The other thing is, no one really worries about if the centerpieces are elevated or not other than you.  Do whatever is the most reasonable option.

That's what I'm doing as well. And may I say, great idea we had!

    This is my inspiration:

I'm making the candle hangers with wire and I'm clipping branches from my yard.
The cylindar vase will be on a pedestal cake plate (secured with Dimensional Zots and filled with clear marbles for stability).
The cupcakes will be arranged just like yours.
