Have any of you had your tasting yet? We are picking our entrees to taste today so I was just wondering if there was a certain entree that you really liked, or didn't impress you.....

Any other things I should know?

We had ours last Monday.  We tasted the Chicken Saltimbocca and the Chicken Parmesan.  We actually combined to the 2 dishes...we liked the chicken from the Chicken Saltimbocca and the sauce from the Chicken Parmesan.  The food was decent (better than other wedding food), but not amazing. 

FI is still upset that we had to pay for our tasting.  I knew this and didn't tell him about it.  It is crazy that we're spending $XXXXX there and we have to pay $30 for the tasting.

If you have your meeting with Dawn today, I would suggest you know what appetizers you want before you go.  My work friened's daughter got married last year at Carlson and their appt last year was 3 hours long and FI and I were only there for an hour because we had everything picked out already and knew exactly what we wanted.  Dawn is very on the ball and knows her stuff!  I was very impressed with her.

Ok thanks! We are planning on trying the chicken parmesan and the pistacchio chicken.

We have the appetizers picked out, just checking to see if anyone had tried any at a wedding. I think we are going with the bacon wrapped shrimp and the grilled marinated beef skewers.
