Vendor seating/dinner at the reception?

I know we are obviously suppose to feed our vendors but do we have a whole table for them? There is a table at our reception that has 5 open spots, is that enough?

We have our dj, that will probably eat by his equipment. Then a DOC, 2 photographers, and I can't really think of who else. We are having a photobooth that will have 2 people. I guess I should ask them if they are eating and where they would like to eat? I have no idea how this works...help!

Yup! We'll be seating our DOC, photog and videographer together at a table, and will probably add the DJ there too. We are seating them at a table close to the head table so they've got easy access to us (particularly for the photog and videographer), and will be one of the first tables to get their food, so they can eat and then get back to doing their thing while other guests are eating.

We are seating the 2 photogs at a table with my dad's sisters because there are 3 open spots and it's close to the head table.  I didn't even think about putting the DJ at a table......I assumed he/she would sit and eat at their table, but I butter check on this.

I had the DJ fed but at his station because he was playing music through dinner.  Our photobooth attendant didn't arrive until dinner was nearly done so we didn't feed them.  Our photogs were seated at tables but I showed them the seating chart and where I had open spaces and asked them where they'd like to be placed for best photo accesss. We did have the option for "vendor meals" but opted to just feed them what everyone else was having since most of them were seated in with guests.  We did have one photog who was vegan which made things fun but she raved about her meal and thanked me profusely for attending to her dietary choices.

Ditto what Bimbi said. We talked to our photog about this, and the one request she made was that they get their food early (about when the head table is served) so that they have enough time to eat and then be done to take photos again. If they get served later, they'll still be eating when we're up and doing other stuff.

I just plugged mine in where there were open seats.

Would you still provide a meal for the DJ if they are schedule to start after dinner? Seems like you would since they will be there setting up right?
