Photographer turn around time?

On average, about how long does it usually take a wedding photographer to give a bride/groom their photos from the wedding?

We got our pictures on on online gallery at 3 weeks and photo emailed me today to say she put the disc in the mail today so we'll get that tomorrow at 4 weeks.  Most of the photogs we talked to said about 3-4 weeks.

Our pictures were available through the online gallery at about 6-7 weeks.  We took a few weeks to look through them because we got an album with our package and had to select photos for that.  We meet with our photographer this week to finalize those details and I got our CD then.

Our contract says the industry average is 4-8 weeks.  I think it depends on how much work the photographer takes on and whether its "busy season" or not.

Our photographer said they will take about a month, but they also said they would be editing every image, versus a few of them might only edit a few of the favorites...

Our contract says 4-8 weeks. We will be at 4 weeks this Sunday but our photographer is getting married next weekend so I'm guessing it will be more towards the 7-8 weeks. She posted the teasers within a week though and her second shooter put like 60 photos on Facebook so I'm not too worried about waiting 7 weeks.

Everyone we talked to said 30 days.  We're hoping for less though, so we can use a picture for christmas cards!
