Recs for florists and photographers

I have been doing plenty of looking around lately and was wondering if anyone had photographer and florist recs, those are the things that I am not doing so well with, we have a budget for the photographer of about $1000 or a little higher and about $900 for the florist. 

Also- I am planning on the reception being at Crowne Plaza North, any reviews?

Manor House flowers. Mandy will work within your budget to create something you want. She is really creative and so much fun to work with. I don't know her number off hand, but if you google Manor House Flowers it will pop up. I met with 5 different florists and she was able to give me the most reasonable price including rentals of vases.

I highly recommend Matthews Wedding Photography! They are a husband & wife team that I can't say enough good things about! We had a tight budget and Matt was willing to adjust his prices to help us out. I highly recommend Sean Dean Photography www.seandeanphotography.com for photographers. They are a husband and wife team. We love our engagement photos with them and are very excited to have them do the wedding.

Also recommend Flowers on Springtree Lane for the florist, they are the best! Good luck

Just wondering...how much does a reception cost at the Crowne Plaza North? We immediately assumed it'd be too expensive, but your budget for other things seems the same as ours so maybe Crowne Plaza isn't as bad as we thought!

I have to second Flowers on Springtree Lane with huge enthusiasm.

I was in overseas when I booked them, entirely via email at first.  Anne and Robin were one of the MOST patient vendors I've worked with and if you're planning from OOT (or out of the country!), you know that means a ton.  Before even booking them, we emailed back and forth and altered the estimate about a million times, and not once did they pressure my putting a deposit down or anything.  Other florists I went to before I left for Korea seemed a little hasty when meeting with me, and a couple wouldn't alter my quote at all without a deposit when I decided to change my colors and budget...

Finally, when I arrived in the States again and had a chance to meet with them in person, they were a couple of the nicest ladies I had ever met, and really know what how to help considering I have no experience or knowledge of flowers.  My budget was literally cut in half just a couple of weeks ago, and they assured me that they would do everything they could to give me the wedding flowers I wanted.  I honestly can't say enough good things about them and though I've recommended them for the great pricing before, I can't say enough about their kindess and willingness to work with budget brides.  

Have I said enough good things?  Let me know if you have any more detailed questions -- they don't require a minimum and always make sure you get all of the leftover flowers they've ordered for your wedding, which is a little perk that some florists don't offer.   www.flowersonspringtreelane.com

As for photographers in your budget, I've heard great things about JW Photographers based out of Newark, OH.  I think they actually have a photobooth too?  I'd look into them.

We  are going with Melissa Pauquette.  We are going with her most expensive package and we are paying $1100.00.  Includes all day, engagement session, a cd of all your pics, and a photo booth!  She was so nice when we met with her and our venue has talked very highly of her. 

I am going through the flower ordeal as we speak.   I had an appointment with Flowers on Orchard Lane and Janna Coe designs.  Both were great.  I might meet with one more and make  my decision.  I don't know how I'm going to decide!

I would also recommend Matthews Wedding Photograpy and Flowers on Springtree lane!

These are the two vendors I am most excited about!  Our engagment pictures turned out great so I can't wait to have him do our wedding photos!  Anne and Robin were wonderful.  I know nothing about flowers so they really helped out.  I got a qoute from one other florist which was much hgher for less.

@DSHighSchoolSweet- We will be having a 100 person guest list, so we are able to fit into their smallest room with a really reasonable minimum, $2000 in F/B, which we are doing the most inexpensive dinner package at 28.95/person and the drinks (beer, wine, and soda only) will be about $2000 after working out a package with Sandy.  I really recommend calling or emailing them, Sandy is so nice and helpful!  We haven't gone and taken a tour but we are going in the next week or so.  So far so good with them

Bloomtastic Florist in Upper Arlington is an AMAZING florist.  She really worked with what I was looking for and my flowers were GORGEOUS!

We are using Annie Thress Photography for our wedding in June. Her packages would fit your budget (ours was about the same    ), and her photography has a nice variety of styles. She's an absolute sweetheart, and you get two photographers for your wedding (usually her husband is the second).
