Stillwater Courthouse Brides

For those of you who got married here, did you opt to have the jail open? Did people like it? We were hoping to have a photo station down there.

I didn't know that was an option!?!  How did you find out about that?

I don't know if you can leave it "open"... the only option we were given was for guided tours. Maybe they changed the policy...?

We were going to do tours during the cocktail hour, but we forgot to request it until right before the wedding, and they couldn't find a volunteer to do it :(

You can have the jail open but only for one hour and it's $50.

We had it open but forgot to ask and pay for it the day of. They ended up forgetting to open it up for us and we had to remind them in the middle of our cocktail hour, they ended up refunding us luckily... but our guests didn't get as much time to explore, but they seemed to enjoy it
