Pics from my showers and what my DIY projects have come to...

I am totally done with showers and have to say that I am relieved. They were both super fun but stressed me out for some reason. But we did get some good things and have time with friends and family which was awesome.

Here is a couple pics from my first shower - an all girls shower:

Our FG was there and she helped me open allthe presents...she was super cute so I just let her help - gotta pick your battles right :).

I was really excited about these salt and pepper grinders- seriously I really wanted them.

And the whole group!


Our second shower was a couple's shower hosted by Joe's fam:

Recognize the dress :) - had to get my use out of it! We got a Disney Diary Queen cake to represent our HM and the fact that Joe has managed a DQ PT during the summer for the last 9 years.

Me and my sister - one of my MOHs.

And us and my dad - I am a daddy's girl!


And last but not least...my latest DIY project....

Our late night snack is popcorn and of course I had to cover the salt shakers to match the wedding right :). So I may have went a little overboard with the embossed Ms but now they go with the overall theme. :)

    cute! did you get your dress at white house, black market? i tried on one just like that in April... but chose the J.crew white seersucker beach dress.  Now I'm kinda wishing I had picked the more formal one so I could change into it at the reception (~10ish, only if my gown gets unbearable)...

    KittE- yes the dress is from White House Black Market! It was on clearance and I had a coupon so it was an awesome deal. I was originally going to try to find another dress for the other shower but liked that one so much that I decided to wear it again with a diff hair style.
