I just studied up on you DIY blog. I really want to dye my crinoline and you have great directions! 

My favorite part is that you made a brown bag apron....  although I was seriously dissapointed to see that you did not post a picture of you rocking it!!  tear!!

    :D  Always glad to spread a little joy.  DH already thought I was crazy enough for taking pictures of all of the steps  (he learned to get over that pretty quickly as the projects piled up). He probably couldn't have held the camera steady enough from laughing so hard if I had let him see me in it.

    I HIGHLY recommend dying your crinnoline.  Mine was pretty bright (like a really ripe orange), and it didn't show through my dress at all.  For most of the pictures, you couldn't even see it, but I have some really fun ones where I'm sitting down, dancing, and lifting it a bit to walk where you get a peak of the color.  Plus, it made me feel a little "sassy."
