Reasonable prices/place for tuxes?

Hi!

My fiance (& me too, I guess!) is wondering.... where is a great place to go for tuxes - that is reasonably priced but has a stylish selection?

Thanks!!
Sarah

Savvi in Maple Grove! I've heard from several friends they have outstanding customer service as well as a great assortment!

we just went over the weekend to the Wedding Shoppe on Grand.  They have a huge selection and we got good service in the tux area (I have had a few not so good experiences in the BM dress dept)  They have a few different price points available for almost all styles.  The ones that are less expensive are just older, have been worn/rented more, hence dry cleaned more.  She said some of the less expensive ones may be a tiny bit faded.   In any case,  I believe they had pkgs $110-140....and those include shoes, ties, vests, pocket squares and cufflinks.

Yup! Ditto Savvi...they have lots of locations in MN. We went to the one in Southdale and they were great!

We got our tuxes from Formal Affair in Blaine (next to Angelique's).  We got in with a $99 tux sale that they have a few times a year.  We got a $179 tux for only $99!  And we had great customer service and everything was correct when the guys picked them up, they all looked great!

I'll ditto on Saavi as well.  We went to the one in Eagan after meeting the manager at a wedding workshop.  Their customer service was really good and they were helpful when deciding between suits or tuxes.  For suits including shoes, pocket square, cufflinks, vest, tie, and shirt it came to about $110.

We decided not to even check out Mens Wearhouse because they got our info from DB and we have been receiving many unwanted calls ever since.

Savii was our choice.  My sister used the Wedding Shoppe and had a few problems (like the ring bearer who is a child got a grownup tux which they luckily figured out the day before and a few buttons came off jackets right before the ceremony so my dad was running around sewing things back on) so we didn't opt to go that route.  We had a great experience with Savii and if I had to do it all over again with them, I would in a heartbeat.

We went with Savvi. One of my bridesmaids is getting married too and when in recently to look at tuxes and told them that I got $40 off each tux (which I did) and wanted them to honor it for her too and they did so it is worth a try asking for deals!

We're also using Savvi.  We're doing the rosedale location, although I don't know if the specific location matters much.  So far we're happy with them, hope it stays that way!

I would recommend Men's Warehouse - I found they were a little more professional than Saavi and gave better suggestions. Their quality is a lot better than Saavi as well.
We went into a Saavi, and it was a high school kid working that basically threw a catalogue at us and said, look through here and see what you want. She then went into the back room and didn't come out again so we left. I was appaled at their customer service!

I've also heard that Mesteds is GREAT! Have had friends use them (they're in Rochester or St. Cloud) but the distance isn't a huge problem, because from what I hear, they come up on the day of the wedding (or day before) and hand deliver the tuxes to the guys. They bring back ups of shoes, jackets, shirts, etc incase something isn't right.

Don't know how much mested's is - Men's Warehouse will probably be around $130. Saavi is much less expensive, but you get what you pay for in terms of customer service, etc. I was NOT impressed with Saavi.

    Good luck!!
