Tux Rental

Where did you rent you tuxedos from? Did you like the company you rented from?

About how much was the cost per tux?

Were you able to pick styles and find the cost on the company's website or must I go to every brick and morter store to compare styles and costs?

The wedding is in 4 months. Am I on borrowed time?

I'm renting tuxes from Anerson's I think. We are going through our bridal shop and I can't really remember which company. Ours are going to be Brown from Calvin Klien and are in the $170 range.

I know they want our order early to have ample time to make more if necessary since brown isn't really that popular. I think you are fine with 4 months left. I would go to the rental places and check prices or just ask what companies there are out there and go to their websites. I know our bridal shop only works with two rental companies. GL! HTH!

We went with Savvi formal wear (as do many brides on here). They have a website, but not everything that they carry is on there, so its best to go to one of their many shops.

We also went with Savvi. We really liked the service we got at Men's Warehouse, and the prices were comparable, but Savvi had what we wanted and MW didn't. You should be fine on time. We booked ours in March I think, and our wedding is in June. The guys have until 30 days before the wedding to get their measurements in, so you should be fine. One thing, though, is don't believe them when they say they have a "special deal" that is ending in 2 days. They have the same special all the time, so if you don't feel comfortable booking that day, you can wait and you will still get the discounts.

We used Savii as well - Men's Warehouse partners with David's Bridal and I had horrid experiences at David's Bridal.  Hubby checked out MW by himself and got the same sort of schtick from them.  He was asking about pricing and policies, they wanted him to sign on the dotted line and when he said "no, I'm just researching right now" they basically ignored him from that point forward.  They successfully lost any future business from this bride and her hubby!

The Savii people were lovely to work with.  DH wanted real "tie it yourself" bowties and Savii didn't have them - just the clip ones.  I ended up making the bowties and pocket squres and they were awesome about me coming in with fabric swatches to match with the vests.  I really appreciated the level of service we got from them. Pricing was about $120 a tux I believe and were fantastic about accommodating our bridal party's crazy schedules for fittings and pickups. Even though everything came from different stores, nothing was faded or out of whack.  I was totally happy with them.
