I got my DRESS!

I went dress shopping yesterday for the FIRST time and ended up buying my dress! It's a Maggie Sottero (Love her stuff!) and it's the most beautiful dress I've ever seen. Link is below. Not only was this dress beautiful..it was cheap! Originally $930...we got it for $180...yes, $180! The veil was also 60% ....we walked out of the bridal shop spending $235! The dress came "as-is" and it does need some very minor alterations (hem line, beading...etc) but nothing major. It shouldn't cost more then $200 to alter it. Still wayyyy under budget! Yipppeee! I just wanted to share my excitement with you ladies. It feels soo good when you can check something off your list, and stay WAY under budget!

    I have the Maggie Sottero Madison!!  Its the same as the Madison Marie dress but no beading.  I was torn between the two but found a really pretty crystal sash that would have been too much for the Madison Marie, so Madison it was.  Congrats, its an awesome check off the list!! :)

    graysquirrel - I got it a Napier Bridal in W. St. Paul. It's off of Robert Street and Highway 13. They have a lot of gowns on clearance ...most of the gowns I tried on were under $300! They are also having a sale on veils (60% off) and jewerly!
