If you go to Rushs...

... and find blood on a dress, sorry, that was probably me.

I went to Rushs earlier this week to try on dresses, and while I was pulling one over my head, I got stabbed in the arm with a needle that had not been removed when the manufacturer sewed the dress! She had to pry the pin out, as it was sewed into the seam. And I've got this lovely scratch on my arm now.

I don't think I got any blood on the dress, but I did start to bleed. Luckily, my mom had a bandaid in her purse so I threw that on.

Anyways, random, but how creepy, huh? What's equally crazy is that I found another pin in a dress at a different shop later that day! That one didn't stab me, though.

Has this happened to anyone else?

OMG! That's so NOT cool! I'm glad it wasn't more than a scratch though. That has never happened to me aside from times when I have had alterations done and have accidentally gotten pricked, but never any blood loss (haha).

    Oh no!

That actually happened to me too, at Dresses by Tess in Apple Valley.  I got a scratch half way up my calf when I stepped into a dress.  I had to ask the lady helping me for a band-aid.  I didn't even notice at first but then realized that something on my leg was hurting.  Luckily I noticed and got the band-aid before any damage was done to the dresses.

Crazy how painful a pin scratch can be!  But don't worry though - I can tell you from experience that it will be totally gone before you know it!

that happened to me at davids bridal!  there was a pin in the train of the dress and it scratched my leg pretty good.  Shouldn't they check that stuff better?

This didnt happen to me, but it happened to the woman that was helping me at Priscilla of Boston!  She bled all over the dress I was about to try on!  Nothing ruins a wedding dress than blood!  Crazy!
