Fort Snelling Memorial Church

Has anyone been to a wedding at Fort Snelling Memorial Church or had their wedding there? We are looking to have a December 4th, 2010 Ceremony there but we would love to hear more about the church.... any comments or feedback?

    Knottie sjb&apa had her wedding there in 2008 I believe.  It's a cute little church, and you have the flexibility of bringing in your own minister.  I'd give it a thumbs up!

    Its a cute little church. I do not recommend using a boombox placed up in the rafters for your processional music... I went to a wedding there and that is what it sounded like. it was pretty bad. but venue was cute.

    I've never been to a wedding there, but I will be having mine there in August. I love the outside of the church, but the flags on the inside are a little bit obnoxious. A good photographer will be able to minimize that though.

    From remembering what previous knotties that have used the church have said...  Remember that it's a MILITARY chapel, they have set and specific rules about what you can and can't do (i.e. flags need to stay where they're at)...  OTOH, they LOVED the site and only had good reviews after the obvious that it's a military site.
