Just out of curiosity...

This is our first Christmas in our new house and I can't wait to put up the Christmas tree. I'm just curious how soon everyone else puts theirs up? I saw someone on Facebook today put up a picture of one and I think it's still a little too soon!

I'll put mine up right after Thanksgiving, then leave it up through New Years!

I'm an early bird!  I figure if I put a bunch of work into decorating that I may as well enjoy it.  I usually put mine up mid-November or right after Thanksgiving at the very latest.

We put ours up the week before Thanksgiving. I'm usually gone the last week or so of December and I figure if we're going to take the time to put it up, I want to enjoy it! Also it gives me time to get it decorated in time for our annual dinner party which is the first week of December.

My family always puts ours up the day after Thanksgiving. That usually works out best for us because my brothers and I are all home from school and what not to put it up. Then we leave it up until about New Years.

We've put ours up the day after Thanksgiving. Don't know how well that'll work out this year since I have a second job now and will have to for sure work that day.

FI put ours up last year the week before Thanksgiving because he used it to propose and wanted to do it before we saw the rest of my family for Thanksgiving.  This year we're having about 20 people at our house for Thanksgiving, so it will have to wait until after.  I'll want to do it by the beginning of Dec at the latest.  (If we even have time to go get one this year.)

This is our first holiday season living together so I'm not sure yet. We won't have a real tree.. actually we'll probably just use the little one I bought in college :-)

My parents put theirs up sometime after Thanksgiving. I don't think they've ever done it before. They always have a real tree so having it end up dying before Christmas isn't something they want :-)

We usually go out to J's grandpa's land to cut down our tree around the first week of December.

Also, OP, your puppy in your sig pic is so so soooo cute!

My family always did it the weekend of my grandpa's bday for some reason (Dec 8), so since then that has been when I put up our tree.  We take it down the weekend after New Years.

    Usually shortly after Thanksgiving!
I don't think there is a right or wrong time to put it up. It does seem crazy that some stores already have tons of Holiday decorations up, though!

Day after Thanksgiving here too! I always have the week after Christmas off from work so I take it down towards the end of the week, just because I'm home.
