Found a great song!

Well, actually my MOH did. It's called "the feather song" from the movie Forrest Gump. My MOH thinks it's a great song for brides to walk down the aisle to, and after listening to it I can't agree more. Gives me goosebumps!  Just thought I'd share!

    Your welcome! As I'm listening to it more...I'm wondering if it could be use for a recessional song as well? ...it's long enough that it could even bleed into the receiving line portion of the ceremony. It kind of has the "happy ending" feel to it. Thoughts?

    I think it feels a little slow for a recessional -- if you were to use it for that, I'd start a minute and a half in where the music gets "bigger" ... I'm not a big classical music fan though, so maybe that's why I don't love it.

    Really like it! We have a groomsman who is a pianist and we are trying to figure out a way for him to play a song.  Suggestions on how to do this and when/how to incorporate it into the wedding ceremony?  Do you think this song would be just as beautiful with piano only?

    @tpender -- I think you make a great point! :)

    @martiac225 -- I think just piano alone would be beauitful --here's a piano version i found --- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jVO8keNJ_Q0

    Also, I think it'd be a great song to walk down the aisle to, or even to have played while the mothers are being escorted to kind of start things off....that's just what I envision when I listen to it. Gosh, I'm a nerd. haha!

    Thanks for the link, I love it!!
    Now you have me thinking recessional songs....we are big Beatles fans, thinking maybe "When I'm 64", but the piano only version kind of sounds circus-like to me, if that makes sense :)
