Help with food for a may wedding

Hi! I'm looking for help. We have a really tight budget and we are looking for food for the big day. I'm debating between a few things. Does anyone know of a cheaper caterer? We are trying to stick to under $1,000 for food and a few people to help setup/cleanup.  OR we can get food dropped off and have a friend help out when the food gets to the site? And who should that be? I have a few friends who want to help out and this might be the way they can do that.
Does anyone have any ideas????

Thank you!!!

How many guests are you looking to feed?

My cousin used Famous Dave's for his wedding, and it was really quite good. I think he was on a very tight budget, so that might be an option for you...

I was just talking to my hubby about the Little Oven on Minnehaha in St. Paul - you can have Italian food (ravioli dinner I think) catered from them for very little.  I have no idea how they set it up etc. but I've had their food and it isn't bad.  Hubby and I live decently close so we get it carry-out style every now and again.
