Budget videographers - recos?

My FI and I are planning to ask one of our friends to do video for us, but in case he can't, does anyone know of any budget videographers that do a great job?

By budget, I mean definitely less than $1000, preferably less than $500. It seems like everything I find on Google is above that, but I'm hoping there's someone just starting out on their own or something that can do it for cheaper.

We are using Brady Salay at Highlights

$500 is the highest priced package.  Someone else (I forget who) used him and was happy with the results so we went ahead and booked him.  He has so far been very good about responding quickly to emails and answering questions.

We used Highlights Videography and were very happy with him.  I found the easiest way to get ahold of him is via email Highlightsvideography@hotmail.com.
