Shower "thank you" gifts

I have a wedding shower in two weeks, and I am trying to think of some good ideas for the hostesses (spelling?)

What are you thinking of giving or what did you give to Thank the ones who hosted your wedding shower(s)?

I have heard of a lot of girls doing shower stuff like a lufa or shower jell with a note saying something like I hope your next shower was a good as mine. Also on the "shower" theme, I have heard of doing cute umbrellas.

Oh, great idea. I've got a shower coming up too.  I really like the shower accessories idea! For those that gave gifts to their hosts, did you give it to them right after the shower, or a bit later?

ps. - I think my siggy is FINALLY working again!!!

My FSIL gave the hostess a potted flower plant and she just gave it to them when she arrived. I love the bath accessories idea too! I know someone on here had a really cute idea awhile back that I wanted to use but I can't remember what it was

A good friend of mine is a cosmetologist, maybe I can get some Avada products at cost...to keep my cost down, good ideas.  Thanks ladies

I'm so glad you brought this up because I have a shower in a few weeks and am stumped as well!

One idea I've heard in the past (for a wedding party gift, but showers are similar) is a "date night" or "girls night out" pack.  A gift certificate to a favorite restaurant and two movie tickets or a blockbuster gift card.  I'm doing that for their gifts at my wedding, so I'm still thinking about showers.

The reason I like this is because I know that they will want and use it (especially if I pick a restaurant I know they like).  I think the "bath towel/loufa" idea is cute, but to be honest, I have more shower gel than I will use in an entire lifetime from gifts from colleagues, etc, who don't know me very well.  So, it's a great gift for some, but that is something to consider for others.  If they love that stuff, then they can never have enough!

Love the cosmetologist idea--if your friends like massages or manicures or pedicures, that might be another suggestion (maybe I'll do that!).

i live in miami- so for my MN shower i gave my hostesses a bag of local florida candy. it was all key lime, orange and coconut flavored.

i'm having a FL shower in a few weeks, and i ordered really cute MN gift baskets from the minnetonka general store online that is mostly MN candy. i must say they were VERY helpful. the basket i wanted was over $30, but i emailed to see if they could significantly lower it by taking out some stuff, and they did to fit my budget. if anyone else is having an out of MN shower i highly recommend this!
