I grew up in Minnesota, but I have lived in Missouri near the Arkansas border for about 5 years. 3 years ago we were slammed with an ice storm that took out the power for 14 days, so now every time a winter storm is possible blowing through everyone freaks out! Well they are predicting up to a foot of snow in our area tonight, and once again panic has struck. Schools are closing already, and all the wal-marts are flooded with people buying bottled water, batteries, ect... I always think this is just so funny, I mean in MN getting that much snow happens once every couple of weeks, and here it is occurence that shuts the entire city down. Well, I just had to share that little bit of info with brides who would appreciate it.
