Reception at the Prom Center

Can anyone comment if thye have been to a wedding reception at the Prom Center.  Were you happy with the service and food?  My biggest concern is that they can have 2 weddings going on at the same time side by side.  Is there any noise problem if both receptions have DJ's and dances?  Please comment.

    I've been to several weddings there (I grew up nearby).  It wasn't terrible but it wasn't fantastic either.  I don't ever recall there being other weddings there the same time as the one I was attending though so I can't comment on that.

    My sister got married at the Prom Center 2 years ago.  There was aother  reception going on next door at the time.  While in the ballroom area and on the dance floor, I couldn't hear the music next door at all!  If your guests are hanging out in the lobby area, they may be able to hear both DJs somewhat.  But the people who are in the reception area won't even realize that there is another wedding going on in the other half of the ballroom.  I think if that's the only thing you didn't like about Prom Center, sounds like a great pick for you!

    I just wrote a really detailed response and then lost internet, so I'll condense this, especially since pp just responded with what I was going to put. I've worked many an event at the Prom center (I work with a chocolate fountain company) and have nothing but great things to say about them. THe food is fabulous, they always give us any extra or leftovers, the staff are really nice, and they are great to their customers. I will always reccommend Prom Center to others!

    I worked at the Prom Center for years as well and am now having my wedding there soon.  I love it there!
