jewelry and gifts for BMs?

I'm looking for jewelry to give to my BMs.  The dresses are satin chocolate brown with an ivory sash.  The shoes are bronze.  Any suggestions on where to look?

I'm including the shoes and jewlery as part of their gift and I was also planning on getting some other small things.  What are you giving your BM's for gifts?

Thanks in advance!

There is a jewelry line called '1928' that I know they have at Kohl's that has bronze-y metal earrings and necklaces (maybe bracelets too, not sure.)   One of my sisters had brown as our BM dresses and we used this jewelry line.

For my wedding, I'm planning to give the girls jewelry and pay for their hair and maybe something else as their presents.

I ordered photo tote bags from Bed Bath & Beyond for $3 (on clearance!) http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?SKU=122056
I'm going to make copies of photos of my bridesmaids and I and put them in the slots.

In the bags will go shawls to wear for the wedding, and whatever jewelry I end up getting them for the wedding.

I am giving my bridesmaids clutches from NELLE (full disclosure, I make the bags). I haven't decided what style, but I think that I will give them the Perfectly Petersham or Cherub clutches in different colors.  http://shop.nellehandbags.com/

I know that they are excited about the BM gifts and oddly enough I have had many friends offer to be in my wedding to get their hands on them. I am also having the ladies carry the clutches down the aisle instead of bouquets. Saves on the flower budget and looks just as great!

booboo - I wore a chocolate brown dress & gold shoes in my MOH's wedding, and she gave each of us a pair of earrings & matching necklace that she had made by Maya Belle Jewelry... my earring card has the bride & groom's name & their wedding date, too!  They're actually nice & I have worn them again.  I think they cost less than a dept store's selection.

As for me, I really like the idea of pearl earrings.  I think every lady should have a pair... and I don't think any of my BMs do yet.
I am also shopping for blue gauzy shawls/scarves (saw some at urban & should have snatched them in April!) and a travel jewelry roll.  (I don't like the ones I've found so far on etsy & redenvelope.)
And, impulse buy, I got some cute sleep shorts at target on clearance today. I bought 3x as many b/c I'm not sure of sizes... MOH will be 8m pregs!

I've gotten several gifts for my BM: I made/am making scrapbooks for all the girls, got a bag full of Avon items, and a pearl pendant necklace from Helzberg, and I'm making those personalized hangers. FI says I need to stop with all the gifts for my girls because he's feeling bad that I have so much more for my side than his, he got a pocket watch for all the guys, oh well...

I agree that pearls would look best with their dresses and sashes.  It's pretty easy to find them in ivory or cream color.

For my girls, I'm making them jewelry to wear for the ceremony (Swarovski crystals on a tiered sterling silver necklace, bracelet, earrings), and may pay for their mani/pedis if we all go together.  I'd also like to get them tote bags with other gifts, but I have no idea what I'd put in them.  Maybe I'll make them each personalized decoupage frames and put our pro pics in them for them to have as a keepsake and make them pairs of martini glasses with polymer clay baked on, but that's incredibly time-consuming, so I don't know if that'll actually happen.

I'm more concerned about what FI is going to do for the GMs.  I don't think he's put an ounce of thought into it.

you said you're getting them something else small- just be sure to do this!  Technically, anything given to the ladies that has to be worn in the ceremony (necklace, shawl, anything) is not considered their gift.  :-)

I highly recommend Francesca's at Arbor Lakes in Maple Grove...they have tons of cute things like jewelry and girlie odds / ends.  I found little things that my BM's can carry in their purse on the wedding day and after.  I had already purchased them jewelry (personalized from Things Remembered) so I decided to supplement it with some other cute things :)  I think they have other locations too...
