NWR - Job F/U

Hi Ladies, sorry this isnt wedding related, but its important to me and I'd like to get some more opinions on what I should do.

I had a job interivew on 6/18 for a job that I have wanted for a long time now and I know that I did well at my interview and have excellent references and a letter of recomondation, I sent over a thank you letter as well. I called the recruiter this last friday to find out the status of the positions (there are 4 openings) and if the hiring manager or the manager who would be my direct boss had any other questions for me. I have yet to hear from the recruiter and you can check the status online and it still has me under interviewing. I'd really like to contact the hiring manager by Thursday if I haevnt heard from the recruiter (this is all internal I might add) but not sure if this would be a good idea or not.

What do you ladies think?

    I would say go for it. IMO I think it would show that you are proactive and take initiative. Good luck!

    Just make sure that you aren't over doing it. I worked for the VP office for Hamline during school, and a lot of interviewees went through there. I got a few tips from that job, and you want to make sure you don't seem desperate, and don't want to bug them, it can have a very negative result. Good luck!
