Day-Of lipcolor

Hiya chicas!
So I am currently in the market for some lip color for my big day. Julie from S&C suggested I go out and buy my own, so that I'll have it with me throughout the day, and also because we had to use like 5 different things in order to get the right color for me at my trial, lol.

Anyways, I'm planning on hitting up Sephora today (got a 15% off coupon! Whoop whoop!) to see what they've got.

I'm looking for something that is long-wearing, yet not drying. I'm not looking for something with tons of color, but rather enhancing my natural lip color. I'm doing a more heavy eye, so to avoid looking clowny, I'm keeping the lips natural...but I hate NOT having something on my lips (I'm always glossed up or have at least some chapstick on at all times) Do you gals have recommendations of brands I should look into? Those of you that are married, what did you use???

TIA!

I LOVE Covergirl's Outlast Lipcolor.  Yes, it can be a bit drying, but I've found that only happens if I wear it more than three or four days a week.  They have a lot of colors, and some of them are in more natural or lighter shades.  I've found the shades to be pretty true to the color in the bottle once I put them on.

I had my make-up applied around 2pm, right before the ceremony, and I didn't touch it up once, not even with the moisturizing glossy stuff that comes with it.  It survived eating, dancing, and LOTS of kissing.  We stopped for photos between the ceremony and reception and there were a lot of kissing shots.  Just saying, the lipstick got put to the test!

My make-up minutes after being applied at 2pm:

My make-up between the ceremony and reception, about 4:30pm:

My make-up at the reception after dinner, about 7:30pm.

Oooh, I'm excited to read the replies to this.  It's something I've been wondering about, too.  I never wear any color on my lips (or any makeup at all!) so I definitely want something super low-maintenance.

I do community theater, so I've tried lots of different long-last colors.  I think MAC wins across the board - texture, color, ease, lasting time.  Well, I guess it doesn't win on price, but it isn't super expensive.

I have one light pink color that matches my natural lip color really closely, just prettier!

I also wear MAC lipstick, I can't pick out a color for the life of me so I require somebody to do it for me, haha. I wear the color Lustre, like MN Jen, it's like my natural lip color but better! I'll probably wear that on my wedding day too!

How do you feel about lipstains? They will darken your lips and you can wear your favorite gloss over the top.

</div><div>I was going that route, but couldn't find any that worked for me. Even if they were a good stain, it would be the wrong color. </div><div>
</div><div>Thanks for the tips ladies! I ultimately went with the Urban Decay lip primer and a Laura Mercier lipstick. I'll slap some of my own gloss on top for moisture! The primer makes the lipstick really last a long time. I tested it out today and put it on at just around 11am and I still have color on my lips!
