Minnesota-Minneapolis and St. Paul

You know you are a Knottie if/when

1.) You have to be extra careful and try really hard to actually refer to your significant other by his/her name rather than "FI" or "Fiance" (this happens to me on a daily basis)

2.) You spend more time on theknot.com than you do on pretty much everything else.

3.) (For us MN peeps). You know who Louise Kegley is and pretty much have her on speed dial.

what else you got??

4.) You catch yourself saying "I have a friend who..." so that your friends/family/coworkers don't think you're a crazy Internet person with crazy Internet friends.

So true! Especially #2.  Love the knotties for all the help!  For the first time when we had questions about things, my FI finally said..."why don't you post it and ask the knotties"  Now he's happy I have a resource.

SO true LS!!! I do that all the time especially because my family thinks I'm crazy for talking to people online. Whenever I go to a GTG I say I'm hanging out with "friends."

    <div>Absolutely.</div><div>
</div><div>6) ... You start using Knot acronyms in emails and texts. e.g. Hey Mom, I think we're coming home to do laundry for free this weekend. TIA!"</div>

You know what each of these mean and have actually used them yourself: TIA, GTG (not got to go), FI, DH, FSIL, MOB, MB, FG, GB, AW, BM, BM, HTH, PIP, PIB, SO, STD, NWR, E-PIC, and PEC

LOL, #6 for sure.  It drives my FI crazy when I use knot acronyms, especially STD :)

Ha these are great! I sent my mom a STD guest list for her to fill in the blanks and she told me I had to rename the file before she would fill it out :).

#9 (i think we are on 9): You come up with a WR idea and HAVE to ask the boards before you make any final decisions

    OMG GREAT post idea!

    10) (on the same lines of Danielle) you type an email to someone or post on facebook "how amazing your BM's" are!!! :) -thankfully you catch yourself before you send or post.

3.) (For us MN peeps). You know who Louise Kegley is and pretty much have her on speed dial. --and for this one, for the Las Vegas peeps it is photographer Todd Wilson AKA Spencer here.

    11) When talking to your FI on the phone and you seem even the slightest bit distracted, he immediatly says "You're Knotting again aren't you?!".....and you probably are.

All SOO true -- to add one : when someone says STD your first thought is NOT a disease...

(FI laughed SOO hard when I said I need to get the STDs finished, he didn't get it at that point..)
