Minnesota-Minneapolis and St. Paul

Is this really expensive or a good deal?

The place we have been looking at for our reception cost 6,000 dollars. but that includes a full meal [appetizers, salad, and main course], drinks [non-alcholic and alcohol], the cake ect. Is this a good deal or should I keep looking?

Sounds like a good deal, depending on how many people. Where are you looking? I am shocked that price includes alcohol as well as all of the other things you mentioned. Sounds great, but hopefully that's not for a very small # of people and then add a large price per person above and beyond a small starting #.

Are you sure that's the total, and not the minimum? We looked at several places that had no rental fee as long as we went over the $5000 minimum.  With the 200 we're inviting it actually would have been closer to $10,000.  If it is in fact the total, then that is a great deal.

I agree with the PP - you need to factor in guest count and if that is the min or the total price. How much would it be per person?

That's a fabulous deal - depending on if that includes your overhead.

Our reception - for a 250 guest wedding - is looking like about $8,000 including the rental, linens, food, and the DJ, but not including alcohol or the cake itself.  That does include the cake cutting fee...

Confused yet??  I know I am!
