Bridesmaid Dresses

Hey ladies! I am getting married in June in Central Ohio and will be going dress shopping next weekend with my girls, and have been going back and forth with myself on the length of the dresses. Where I bought my gown, the girl suggested I go with tea length dresses, however, I also like the longer a-line dresses. My BM's have very different body shapes and I want them to look good nice. The second part to this is: will it look ok if I do 3 of them in one color and the other 3 in the opposite color? Our colors our purple and teal with silver as an accent. Thanks for the suggestions in advance!

As someone who has had to wear tea-length BM dress before I will say I hate them.  It is an akward length.  I say go long or knee-length.
Having two different colors will look fine.  I think lots of girls do that.

I am also not a fan of tea length dresses.  I think they make the bridesmaids look short.  I agree with the above post, either knee length or long would look better.  Good luck!

I love tea length dresses, even though I'm only 5'1".  I'm looking at tea length after the dress shop suggested it and  said that the majority of girls have been doing tea length recently.  My girls like the idea of being able to move around more in a slightly shorter dress.

I think you should take your BMs out and see which you prefer in person.

I personally do not like tea length dresses at all. I have yet to see a body type short/tall that this dress style is more flattering than a knee length or floor length.

I am looking at tea length for my BM dresses. Two of my BM have kids, so they love the tea length idea vs. knee length, chasing around after kids, bending over, etc. they LOVE the idea

Again, I would have the BM try them on and go from there... a lot depends on the cut of the dress! Some of the tea lengths looked horrible on the girls!
